Beth Lovell - Receptionist Colchester Clinic

I began working as Receptionist at the Baby Scan Studio, Colchester, in September 2012. Ultrasound was not a new area of work for me, as prior to this I worked as Assistant at the Ultrasound Department at Colchester General Hospital.

I aim to give a warm and friendly welcome to all of our clients,  and to make those who may be feeling a little anxious, feel more at ease.

The Baby Scan Studio offers some amazing bonding experiences with unborn little ones - something I wish I had made use of myself, when I was pregnant. However, I feel it is a privilege to be involved in other people's joy when they see the incredible detail which 4D scans produce.

Thea Warwick Senior Sonographer - Marlow Clinic - Senior Sonographer

Thea qualified as a radiographer in1986 and then in1990 in ultrasound at The Royal Free, London.

She worked there and St.Thomas', London before working in the private sector at The Portland hospital, London gaining more experience in obstetrics and paediatric ultrasound.

A move in the mid 1990s saw her take up a post at The John Radcliffe in Oxford where she was responsible for the creation and running of a GP practice based scanning service visiting 6 practices per week in the JR catchment area.

A switch to the commercial side of ultrasound with an applications post with Hitachi Medical ultrasound gave her experience in the technical aspects of scanning equipment.

However, Thea missed the clinical side of the profession and returned briefly working on the Fertility Unit at St. Bartholomew's hospital, London before having a short break to have her 2 girls.

She has worked part-time in the private sector both in London and the Home Counties for the past 8 years. She joined The Baby Scan Studio, Marlow, in 2012 improving her technique in 3D and 4D scanning. She enjoys the extra scanning time available which provides greater bonding between mother and baby and a more memorable relaxed experience as a whole.
